First FSCTM (Forest Stewardship Council) certified logging company in the Congo Basin. Wijma Cameroon SA is a subsidiary of the Group Wijma in Cameroon, a family business located in Netherlands. The company operates in Cameroon since 1967, in the areas of logging and secondary and tertiary processing of wood.
Today the company is manager of four Forest Management Units (FMU), two of these are attributed to Wijma Company and two others are run in partnership with its subsidiary CAFECO SA and GAU SERVICES Company. The logs of these FMUs are processed in two processing units located in Nguti and Bidou.
All of our sites are FSCTM and OLB certified (FSCTM and OLB Forest Management and Chain of Custody).
