All logs produced or purchased are received on parks of Wijma sawmills; logs are cut into pieces (ridges, split ridges) with length well specified.
A first transformation occurs (sawing of logs into squared boards or raw beams). A part of the production is exported as such, without further processing. With the elimination of defects and a flow with smaller dimensions, the recovery that occurs after the first transformation allows to obtain products of second transformation.
From a second processing being processing of products from the primary transformation (pointing, drilling, press, planing, lugtenoner etc....), we obtain:
Downgraded flows and cut waste from the second transformation are recovered. With the elimination of defects and a flow with smaller dimensions we obtain the optimization of sawing.
The production is composed of 25% of 2nd transformation and 75% of 3rd transformation
